Fullstack Developer – ctrlX Device Portal (f/m/div.)

Bosch Group is recruiting a Fullstack Developer - ctrlX Device Portal (f/m/div.) for this full-time remote position, supporting our Engineering team based in Ovar, Portugal. You'll develop both frontend and backend features for our cutting-edge device management platform, collaborating with a talented global team dedicated to industrial digitalisation.

About the Role

As a Fullstack Developer on the ctrlX Device Portal, you'll take ownership of end-to-end features that enable seamless device connectivity and monitoring. Working remotely whilst supporting our Ovar-based engineering team, you'll balance technical depth with user-centred design, contributing to a platform that serves thousands of users across the Bosch ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain full-stack features across our ctrlX Device Portal, from REST APIs to responsive web interfaces
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in architectural reviews that shape platform reliability and performance
• Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement of our development pipeline
• Engage in troubleshooting and optimisation of existing features based on user feedback and performance metrics
• Share knowledge and mentor fellow engineers within our collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building full-stack applications using modern frameworks and languages
• Strong foundation in database design, API development, and contemporary frontend technologies
• Proficiency with version control systems and experience working in agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and collaborative working style
• Professional proficiency in English; Portuguese language skills are advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on professional experience
