E-Commerce Product Owner:in (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Product Owner to drive their online shop strategy. In this role, you will:

• Own the product roadmap for the web shop, prioritizing features based on business impact and delivering seamless user experiences across all devices
• Optimize conversion rates and customer journeys throughout the entire funnel, from search through product pages to checkout
• Lead data-driven growth initiatives using analytics platforms, A/B testing, and business intelligence tools to improve key metrics including conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment, and revenue per visitor
• Develop intelligent product discovery features including compatibility filters and bundle mechanics that simplify complex purchasing decisions
• Drive innovative AI-powered shopping experiences, from guided selling to semantic search capabilities
• Serve as the bridge between technical development, design, operations, and marketing teams, translating customer needs and business goals into clear requirements
• Take full KPI ownership and derive actionable hypotheses from data to continuously improve shop performance

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Several years of experience in transactional e-commerce with demonstrable success in conversion rate and funnel optimization
• Strong technical and analytics foundation including proficiency with Google Analytics 4, tracking concepts, dashboards, and basic SQL knowledge
• Deep understanding of modern e-commerce architectures such as Shopware, Magento, commercetools, or headless/API-based systems
• Commercial mindset with ability to think in contribution margins and unit economics, prioritizing features based on P&L impact
• Excellent eye for intuitive user experience and interface design with commitment to shipping polished, customer-friendly applications
• AI-first approach to daily workflows, leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis, specifications, and experimentation
• Native-level German and excellent English language skills
• Strong preference for office-first collaboration and in-person teamwork in Berlin-Mitte

Valued additional experience:

• Background with technical or complex consumer products
• Understanding of platform ecosystems and connectivity standards
• Experience with merchandising, pricing structures, and margin logic for product sets and bundles
