We are representing a well-established construction organization in Germany that specializes in civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Our client maintains a strong reputation for quality execution and sustainable building practices. Due to continued project growth, our talent team is seeking a Senior Construction Site Manager (Ingenieurbau) to join their operations in Mannheim.

This is a permanent position offering responsibility for significant infrastructure projects with local assignment, minimizing extensive travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex civil engineering construction projects independently from preparation through successful completion
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site construction teams
• Ensure compliance with budget, schedule, and quality specifications
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, planning offices, and project stakeholders throughout construction phases
• Handle contract variations and claims management
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation and project records

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a construction site manager in civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of VOB (German construction contract standards) as well as construction contract and claims management
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational competence with entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• German language proficiency required for this role
