Position Summary
As a DevOps Engineer at Eurofins, you'll design, build, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure that supports critical business operations across our global teams. You'll develop automation solutions, manage deployment pipelines, and collaborate with software engineers to ensure reliable, scalable systems. This role demands hands-on technical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement in software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems
- Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Automate operational processes using infrastructure-as-code tools and practices
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative measures
- Partner with development teams to streamline application deployment and operations
- Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and disaster recovery requirements
- Optimise infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with containerisation platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD tools and modern DevOps methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Strong foundation in Linux system administration and networking
- Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced technical environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent professional experience
