About This Role
Our talent team is representing a confidential management consulting organization in the cybersecurity and regulatory compliance space. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Management Consultant to join their Munich-based team and support clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks including CRA, DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and the EU AI Act.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity challenges, translating regulatory requirements into practical, embedded processes for clients across various industries. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and progress into project leadership as you grow with the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in implementing regulatory and cybersecurity-related requirements (NIS2, DORA, eIDAS, EU AI Act) and translate them into operational processes
- Develop analyses, concepts, and target operating models for complex cybersecurity topics including digital identity management, AI security, and AI observability
- Lead projects as a project manager or manage individual work packages and workstreams, depending on experience level
- Assess existing client structures, identify risks and gaps, and derive concrete implementation plans
- Collaborate with IT, Business, and Compliance teams on the client side to develop sustainable solutions
- Present complex technical and regulatory topics effectively to both expert audiences and board-level stakeholders
- Take ownership of work packages and progress into sub-project and project leadership roles
- Contribute to internal initiatives, proposals, and practice development by staying current with cybersecurity and regulatory trends
What We're Looking For
- Degree in business administration, informatics, business informatics, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or comparable field with good to very good results
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a relevant environment, ideally in consulting or a strategic role
- Strong understanding of IT with interest in developing knowledge in new and complex topics (in-depth technical expertise is not required)
- Structured work approach with strong analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex topics for management audiences
- Confident communication skills with ability to present to different target audiences in various formats
- Initiative, energy, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit
- Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Munich
