Customer Service Representative – Express Scripts – Remote

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for remote Customer Service Representatives. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is working with a client who provides pharmacy benefit management services to members nationwide. This is a fully remote position where you'll help patients navigate their prescription benefits and resolve their healthcare questions during critical moments.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from members, healthcare providers, and pharmacies regarding pharmacy benefit questions and mail-order services
• Handle back-to-back calls while navigating multiple applications and screens simultaneously
• Update medication transfer requests and provide shipment status updates to members
• Facilitate the transition of medications to home delivery by coordinating with physician offices via phone, fax, or other communication methods
• Obtain new prescriptions from physician offices and document approval status accurately
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in appropriate systems to ensure HIPAA compliance and meet regulatory requirements
• Resolve issues that may prevent order shipment and ensure quality standards are met
• Use active listening skills to address member concerns about medication coverage and costs
• Meet or exceed call center performance metrics while delivering excellent customer service
• Identify and empathetically address patient concerns, escalating when necessary

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; healthcare and/or call center experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional active listening abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to remain calm and helpful when dealing with difficult situations
• Adaptability in a dynamic work environment with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
• Dedicated home workspace free from distractions
• Reliable cable broadband or fiber optic internet (minimum 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload)

Schedule Requirements:

• Training: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
• Post-Training: Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM EST, 7 days a week
• Must attend 100% of training sessions during the first 90 days

Location: Remote within the United States
