Performance Marketing Manager Paid Social (m/w/d)

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency seeking a Performance Marketing Manager focused on Paid Social. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale performance marketing operations while working with diverse clients across e-commerce and brand growth initiatives.

Location: Dortmund, Germany
Work arrangement: Flexible with remote options (up to 12 weeks per year)
Employment type: Full-time (38-hour work week)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of paid social operations and help build the structure in collaboration with data and strategy leadership
• Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns on Meta and TikTok, as well as Demand Gen campaigns on YouTube/Google for multiple clients
• Manage campaign budgets with clear focus on revenue, leads, and ROAS
• Analyze campaign, funnel, and conversion data (including conversion rate, CAC, MER) to drive concrete optimizations for creatives, targeting, and budget allocation
• Develop reporting dashboards and define KPIs in partnership with the data team
• Create hypothesis-driven briefs in coordination with creative teams to ensure assets align with performance objectives
• Provide strategic consulting to clients on performance and tracking topics, presenting results and recommendations in client meetings
• Systematically test new approaches, scale what works, and continuously evolve campaign strategies

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in performance marketing with Meta (TikTok experience strongly preferred), from an agency or e-commerce environment
• Hands-on experience with YouTube/Google Demand Gen campaigns
• Proven track record planning, managing, and scaling conversion and sales campaigns
• Deep understanding of how creative assets drive performance outcomes
• Initiative to help build processes and reporting frameworks for a growing team
• Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of key performance metrics (ROAS, CTR, CR, MER)
• Practical experience with Meta Business Manager and Google Ads Manager
• Confident client-facing communication skills with ability to explain data insights clearly
• Structured, self-directed working style
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
