About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech client building critical infrastructure for private markets. We're seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to own and scale the partnerships function across the UK, Germany, and Luxembourg. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll directly generate revenue while building the channel and provider network that enables sustainable growth.
This position sits at the intersection of business development and operational enablement. You'll personally source and activate referral partners who drive qualified pipeline, while simultaneously building relationships with regulated providers who ensure end-to-end service delivery. You'll work autonomously with direct accountability for ARR contribution and market coverage.
Responsibilities
You will own the partnership program across core European markets, maintaining a consistent framework while adapting to local regulatory realities. Your work will include:
- Identifying, signing, and activating referral and channel partners including fund formation counsel, placement agents, banks, and advisory firms
- Converting partner relationships into measurable pipeline and partner-sourced revenue
- Structuring and maintaining relationships with regulated providers such as depositaries, AML officers, management companies, and specialist service providers
- Closing capability gaps to enable comprehensive fund mandate support across all markets, with particular focus on Luxembourg's regulated environment
- Owning commercial negotiation, pricing, and scope across all partnerships
- Building tracking infrastructure from day one: partner introductions, conversion metrics, pipeline attribution, and activation timelines
- Collaborating with commercial and marketing teams on joint go-to-market initiatives including events, content, and partner-facilitated introductions
- Representing the organization at industry events and forums across European markets with regular travel
- Using data and market feedback to recommend future expansion of the function
What We're Looking For
We need someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate brings:
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in partnerships, business development, or senior client-facing roles within fund administration, fund services, fintech, or professional services
- Strong understanding of private markets and fund manager operations
- Demonstrated track record building something from scratch—a partner programme, new market entry, or commercial channel
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and creating structure while driving measurable commercial outcomes
- Senior operator mindset who remains energized by direct execution: opening doors, negotiating agreements, activating relationships
- Commercial acumen around how referral and delivery partnerships create value and how to structure mutually beneficial agreements
- Credibility holding senior conversations with law firms, depositaries, regulated providers, and professional services organizations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to influence without formal authority across sales, operations, product, and leadership teams
- Systems-oriented approach with ability to build tracking, reporting, and process infrastructure
- Fluency in private markets language including fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and UK/European regulatory environments
- Familiarity with the role of depositaries, management companies, AML officers, and other regulated providers in fund operations
- Existing relationships within UK and/or European VC/PE ecosystem strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly across markets
