Business Analyst

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential insurance organization seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their operations in Thailand. We are looking for a professional who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while driving process improvements and analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions
• Plan and design business processes and system modifications ranging from simple to semi-complex
• Gather business requirements through workshops, interviews, and other facilitation techniques
• Analyze and document complex business requirements and processes, communicating findings to appropriate stakeholders
• Create comprehensive test case scenarios and oversee testing of business applications to ensure requirements are met
• Develop business requirements documents and user stories to support system modifications
• May allocate and monitor work of other business analysts
• Analyze systems and related data to surface actionable insights and demonstrate sound judgment
• Provide time estimates for project-related tasks
• Maintain and update process and procedural documentation
• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field
• Previous experience working in the insurance industry is required
• Health insurance domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of business analysis concepts including requirements definition, technical solution translation, and Agile prioritization
• Strong business analysis skills: facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in Agile and/or Scrum environments is required
• Ability to generate process documentation and document system functionality, data integration, and workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Technical writing skills are a plus
• Must be based in Thailand
• Must be fluent in Thai
