Core Developer – Platform

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential blockchain infrastructure organization in their search for a Core Developer - Platform. This is a remote position working with a global team on open-source technology that powers decentralized applications and next-generation internet infrastructure.

Our client is a leading contributor to core blockchain protocols and developer tooling. You'll join their Acceleration department, which drives ecosystem growth through platform services, integrations, and developer experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement shared infrastructure and services for a blockchain platform
• Build SDKs and APIs that enable developers to create and deploy decentralized applications
• Develop user agents that run applications across web, desktop, and mobile environments
• Maintain platform security, reliability, and scalability for a growing user base
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and internal teams to improve developer tooling
• Document and communicate technical work through blog posts, presentations, and public forums

What We're Looking For

• Strong ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems independently
• Developer empathy - you design stable, intuitive interfaces with end users in mind
• Experience collaborating in open-source environments and communities
• Ownership mindset with accountability for project outcomes
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language
• Comfort presenting technical work at conferences or in written form
• Background in platform engineering, infrastructure development, or SDK/API design
