Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential blockchain infrastructure organization seeking a Core Developer - Node to join their remote engineering team. This is a chance to work on foundational distributed systems technology that supports decentralized network communication, block production, and synchronization at scale.

This position sits within a department focused on ecosystem growth, building the tools and integrations that power next-generation decentralized applications. You'll be working on open-source infrastructure used globally by developers and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core node infrastructure that enables network operations and supports development teams building on the platform
• Build and maintain software for network communication, block production, and syncing across distributed systems
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams on foundational infrastructure components
• Develop networking, syncing, and tooling solutions that ensure network performance, reliability, and resilience
• Contribute to open-source codebases with direct ecosystem impact
• Present technical work through documentation, blog posts, or conference presentations

• Autonomous problem-solving: Ability to work independently and tackle complex technical challenges
• Open-source collaboration: Experience working in collaborative environments with peer review processes, both as reviewer and reviewee
• System design expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture and ability to work with complex distributed systems
• Ownership mindset: Take responsibility for outcomes and drive projects to completion
• Communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in plain language, suitable for documentation and public presentations
• Distributed systems knowledge: Understanding of networking, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain node architecture is highly valued
