Buchhalter (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential environmental engineering and consulting organization seeking an experienced Buchhalter (m/w/d) for their finance team in Nuremberg.

In this role, you will take on central responsibility for financial accounting processes and reporting. Your core responsibilities include:

• Processing, reviewing, and controlling ongoing financial accounting transactions
• Preparing and analyzing monthly management reports (BWAs), financial reports, and evaluations
• Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and reports according to HGB standards
• Reconciling accounts, open items, banking transactions, and payment processes
• Collaborating with the international finance team, tax advisors, and external partners
• Ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent accounting processes
• Sharing expertise and supporting team members with accounting questions
• Optimizing accounting and reporting processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Our client has recently transitioned from DATEV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and you will help develop processes to ensure they remain secure, transparent, and efficient.

What We're Looking For

• Completed professional qualification as Finanzbuchhalter (IHK), Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK), or comparable IHK certification
• Several years of experience in financial accounting, particularly in BWA preparation, reporting, and annual financial statement preparation
• Strong knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) and confident handling of accounting processes
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
• DATEV experience is welcome
• Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with international team members
• Careful, structured, and responsible working style
• Openness to working in an international team environment and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing
