About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential construction technology client seeking a GIS Specialist to join their data processing team in Armenia. Our client works with photogrammetry data from drones and lidar systems, processing construction drawings and georeferenced surfaces for major development projects across North America.
Responsibilities
- Process aerial photography data in photogrammetry software and assess data quality
- Process and georeference construction drawings and plans in both raster and vector formats
- Create and georeference surfaces using CAD software
- Perform custom tasks requiring expertise with various spatial data formats including geojson, kml, tiff, dxf, and dwg
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of relevant GIS or geospatial experience
- Strong knowledge of global and local coordinate systems
- Proven experience working with spatial data in GIS environments
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher
- At least ONE of the following software competencies:
- Experience with photogrammetry software (such as Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, or similar platforms)
- Experience with AutoCAD including drawing tools, blocks, object editing, surface creation, raster importing, and print preparation
- Experience with GIS platforms such as QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo, or equivalent
