About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Dresden that develops advanced communication and transmission systems. Our client works at the intersection of software, electronics, and digital hardware, creating robust solutions for complex technical environments.

This is a senior-level embedded engineering role focused on satellite communication technologies. You'll work across the complete development lifecycle, from prototyping through production readiness, in a highly collaborative and technically challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software components for satellite communication systems
• Guide development processes from prototype phase to production readiness
• Implement communication standards and protocols
• Create unit and system tests for quality assurance
• Perform error analysis, diagnosis, and debugging of software solutions
• Develop and optimize algorithms for data processing
• Configure and customize operating systems, including real-time environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hardware, software, system, and test engineers

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Deep expertise in software development
• Advanced programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Proven, practical experience with Linux operating systems and Linux programming
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and test tools
• Very good German language skills

Preferred Experience:

• Understanding of virtualization technologies
• Experience with version control and continuous integration
• Knowledge of communication technologies
• Exposure to telecommunications, modulation techniques, SNR concepts, or embedded ARM
