Behavioral Health Professional III/IV

Okgov is seeking a Behavioral Health Professional III/IV to join our team in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver essential mental health services and support to individuals and families across our community.

What This Role Involves

As a Behavioral Health Professional III/IV working for Okgov in Pottawatomie County, you'll provide direct clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or behavioral health concerns. This position involves comprehensive case management, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and coordinated care with healthcare providers and community partners. Your work will be critical to improving behavioral health outcomes and supporting the wellbeing of residents across Pottawatomie County.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and group counseling services to clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences
• Manage client caseloads, maintain clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with Oklahoma state and federal regulations
• Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, community organizations, and support services
• Respond to behavioral health crises and provide stabilization and intervention services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical competency and licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Current Oklahoma professional licensure or certification (LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience providing mental health or behavioral health services in a clinical or community setting
• Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and case management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences
• Commitment to professional ethics, cultural competence, and ongoing development
