What This Role Involves

As a Correctional Case Manager with Okgov, you'll serve as an essential link between incarcerated individuals and the resources they need for successful rehabilitation and reentry. Working in Caddo County, you'll develop individualized case plans, coordinate treatment services, and monitor progress toward rehabilitation goals. Your work will directly influence outcomes for people in custody and contribute to safer communities through thoughtful case management and professional support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in custody to identify needs, strengths, and rehabilitation potential
  • Develop and maintain personalized case plans focused on rehabilitation, education, and reentry preparation
  • Coordinate access to educational programs, vocational training, mental health services, and counseling
  • Document case progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed progress reports for the correctional file
  • Communicate regularly with inmates, custody staff, treatment providers, and external agencies
  • Facilitate release planning and coordinate post-release support services and community resources
  • Assess and monitor risk factors to support institutional safety and security
  • Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in case management
  • Experience working in correctional, social service, or behavioral health settings preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex cases and maintain detailed, accurate documentation
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries in a correctional environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet security clearance requirements
