AI Solutions Engineer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the sustainable technology sector, based in München. They are building transformative AI capabilities to power internal operations and drive measurable business impact. Our talent team is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to architect, prototype, and deploy production-grade AI systems that solve real operational challenges.

This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic thinking—you'll rapidly build LLM agents and automation workflows, then evolve individual solutions into reusable platform capabilities. You'll also enable internal teams to become AI-fluent through technical enablement and shared tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain architecture, data quality, observability, and long-term adoption strategies for AI systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to map workflows, identify pain points, and determine where AI or classic automation fits best
• Rapidly prototype and deploy production-grade LLM agents, semantic applications, and deterministic automations
• Convert learnings from individual use cases into core platform capabilities (knowledge layers, system integrations, cloud agent environments)
• Build reusable SDKs, APIs, and playbooks that empower internal teams to self-serve AI solutions
• Lead technical enablement sessions, workshops, and pair-programming to elevate organizational AI fluency
• Implement evaluation frameworks, token cost tracking, latency monitoring, and guardrails for production workflows
• Write production-ready code that balances speed with quality and reliability
• Ensure all solutions comply with corporate IT security, data privacy, and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong backend coding skills in Python with experience building REST APIs, microservices, databases, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Bias for action—you rapidly implement functional prototypes and refine them into reliable production systems
• Deep fascination with the AI landscape; you experiment weekly with new models, agentic frameworks, and emerging tools
• Pattern recognition mindset—you instinctively zoom out from single use cases to design modular platform tools and scalable architecture
• Ability to quickly grasp complex, unfamiliar business workflows and identify where AI adds real value
• Passion for demystifying AI and sharing knowledge through pair-programming, workshops, and daily collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues
