AI SAP BW Senior Professional Consultant

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise client seeking an AI SAP BW Senior Professional Consultant based in Romania. In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable data products using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW on HANA with comprehensive end-to-end solution design
• Develop and maintain advanced BW data models including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, InfoProviders, and BW queries
• Build complete data flows covering extraction, transformation, and loading from both SAP and non-SAP source systems
• Integrate AI-driven logic and predictive capabilities into BW processes and analytical layers where applicable
• Design, build, and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud models, stories, dashboards, and planning applications
• Ensure data quality, governance, metadata management, and lifecycle management for BW and SAC artifacts
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BW data models and SAC analytics solutions
• Implement performance optimization strategies for BW objects, queries, and SAC front-end consumption
• Design and implement security, authorization, and compliance concepts in BW and SAC including roles, data access, and auditability
• Support DevOps and CI/CD processes for BW transports and SAC content deployment, including testing and release management

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Extensive experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA, including advanced modeling and LSA++ / EDW concepts
• Strong understanding of SAP data extraction techniques, including ODP, CDS Views, S/4HANA extractors, and external data sources
• Proven experience designing high-performance BW data models and end-to-end data flows
• ETL design and operations-by-design expertise including Process Chains, DTP tuning, error handling, and recovery
• Solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts, data privacy, and secure data access patterns
• Strong proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, dashboarding, planning, predictive scenarios, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with SAC Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, and planning logic
• Experience integrating AI/ML models or external AI services into BW or SAC-based analytics use cases
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and lineage concepts in analytics environments
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into end-to-end analytics solutions

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Datasphere and hybrid BW / Datasphere architectures
• Knowledge of SAP BTP services relevant to analytics and data integration
• Experience integrating SAC with non-SAP data sources
• Exposure to agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and test automation in SAP analytics projects
