The Opportunity
Join CHG Healthcare as our Founding AI Product Engineer. As a key player in the next chapter of our company, you will identify and automate high-leverage internal workflows using AI. Your role involves working directly with the VP of Engineering and the Product team to discover, build, evaluate, ship, learn, and iterate on new capabilities. The early work is likely to focus on internal teams where operational bottlenecks are most evident, but it will expand to include physician- and employer-facing intelligence as internal successes validate our approach.
Core Duties
- Discover and automate high-leverage internal workflows using AI
- Ship AI capabilities end-to-end with evaluations integrated into the development process
- Partner on data, identity, and architecture to build reusable patterns for each capability
- Extend to physician- and employer-facing intelligence as internal wins compound
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a proven track record of designing and shipping systems end-to-end
- Experience in AI, machine learning, or related technologies is highly desirable
- A passion for solving complex problems and delivering impactful solutions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and drive projects from start to finish
