The Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to join our surgical clinic team at our Mount Juliet location. In this role, you'll support our plastic surgery and colorectal specialists while providing direct patient care across the clinic continuum—from pre-operative assessments through post-operative follow-up. This is a full-time LPN position ideal for a nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical environment and takes pride in ensuring every patient receives individualized attention and support.

Core Duties

• Monitor and record vital signs, patient histories, and clinical assessments
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist nursing and surgical teams during operations
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative patient monitoring
• Administer medications and support IV therapy under physician supervision
• Provide patient education on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, sterile surgical environment
• Respond to patient needs with compassion and communicate effectively with the care team

Requirements

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Tennessee
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably acute care or surgical services
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented surgical clinic environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional healthcare standards
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties and stand for extended periods
