Senior Fellowships and Student Services Coordinator

Utaustin seeks an experienced Senior Fellowships and Student Services Coordinator to support our thriving fellowship programs and student services initiatives at UT Main Campus in Austin, Texas. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated professional committed to student success and academic excellence.

What This Role Involves

As Senior Fellowships and Student Services Coordinator, you'll serve as a key resource connecting students with funding opportunities, professional development pathways, and comprehensive support services. You'll manage the full lifecycle of fellowship programs—from student recruitment through award completion—while providing direct guidance to fellowship recipients and ensuring their educational and career objectives are realized.

Responsibilities

• Administer fellowship programs, including application review, eligibility assessment, and award processing
• Advise students on fellowship opportunities, funding sources, and application strategies
• Coordinate student services initiatives that strengthen academic performance and professional growth
• Maintain accurate records of fellowship recipients, funding allocations, and program outcomes
• Develop and lead workshops, information sessions, and webinars for prospective fellowship applicants
• Partner with faculty, department leadership, and external funding organizations to identify and promote relevant opportunities
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and compliance documentation as needed
• Represent fellowship programs at campus events and community outreach activities

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience in student services, fellowship administration, academic advising, or closely related field
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheet applications, and Microsoft Office software
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of higher education funding landscape and fellowship program structures
• Dedication to serving diverse student populations and advancing inclusive excellence
