Senior EMC validation Engineer

Join Bosch Group as a Senior EMC Validation Engineer and lead electromagnetic compatibility testing and validation initiatives at our Bangalore facility. This is a full-time position where you'll ensure our products meet regulatory compliance standards and customer requirements.

About This Position

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Senior EMC Validation Engineer to strengthen our engineering team in Bangalore. You'll take on a key role in validating electromagnetic compatibility performance across diverse product lines, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge testing equipment and contribute to the quality and reliability of Bosch's globally distributed product portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document comprehensive EMC validation tests in accordance with international standards (IEC, EN, FCC, CE marking requirements)
• Perform radiated and conducted emissions testing, as well as immunity testing across multiple frequency ranges
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot electromagnetic interference issues, and recommend design modifications to engineering teams
• Develop and refine EMC test methodologies, procedures, and protocols specific to Bosch product categories
• Collaborate with product design and development teams to integrate EMC considerations from early product conception stages
• Maintain and calibrate EMC test equipment and laboratory facilities to ensure measurement accuracy
• Prepare technical reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions for internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor junior validation engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in EMC validation, testing, or product compliance roles
• Strong expertise in EMC standards (IEC 61000 series, EN 55000 series, FCC Part 15, automotive EMC standards)
• Proficiency with EMC test equipment, including signal generators, spectrum analysers, antennas, and shielded chambers
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CE marking, FCC certification, RoHS, REACH compliance)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly
• Experience in the automotive, industrial automation, or consumer electronics sector is highly valued
