About the Role

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and arrange floral and balloon centerpieces to customer specifications

- Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and create appealing product displays
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
- Create a welcoming, clean, and organized department environment that reflects Mariano's standards
- Assist customers in selecting arrangements and customizing designs for special occasions
- Support the department manager in meeting sales goals and monitoring departmental performance
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in floral arrangement, balloon design, or retail leadership
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and resolve concerns
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all designs and presentations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak seasonal periods
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
