Join Browns Shoes as a Human Resources Business Partner based in Saint-Laurent, Montréal. This full-time opportunity places you at the strategic heart of our Talent & Culture department, reporting to our HR Manager and serving as a key advisor to our leadership team.

Position Summary

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will function as an essential strategic consultant to managers and leadership across our Saint-Laurent headquarters. In this role, you bridge organizational strategy with people initiatives, providing expert guidance on talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. Your insights will help shape our workplace culture and support Browns Shoes' continued growth and success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to department and operations managers, understanding their unique business challenges and workforce needs
• Provide strategic counsel on recruitment strategy, candidate assessment, and onboarding processes
• Guide managers through performance management, career development conversations, and employee relations issues
• Support the design and implementation of HR policies and ensure consistent application across the organization
• Contribute to organizational planning initiatives including restructuring, role design, and succession planning
• Develop and deliver learning and culture programs that strengthen employee engagement
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities and make data-informed recommendations

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience working as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or in a comparable strategic human resources role
• Deep knowledge of recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build credibility and influence with managers and executives
• Analytical capability with the ability to translate people data into business-relevant insights and recommendations
• Experience collaborating across business functions—operations, finance, retail, or management—in a consultative capacity
• Bilingual capability in English and French is strongly preferred
• Understanding of employment law and HR compliance in a Quebec and Canadian context
