Head of Sales

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential recruiting firm based in Kirchzarten that is building transformative talent solutions in the German market. Our client is seeking a Head of Sales to lead their commercial growth strategy and build a high-performing sales organization from the ground up.

This is a strategic leadership role with direct access to executive decision-makers. You will shape sales processes, develop new business across key sectors including healthcare, skilled trades, industrial manufacturing, and technology, and establish a team that drives sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale B2B sales strategy, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing processes
• Build and lead a dedicated sales team: recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
• Develop new client relationships through proactive outreach to potential customers in priority industries
• Expand existing accounts by identifying growth opportunities and strengthening long-term partnerships
• Hands-on business development in the initial phase, leading by example in direct sales activities
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to refine positioning and identify growth channels

What We're Looking For

• Several years of B2B sales experience, ideally in staffing, HR services, or recruiting
• Proven track record building and leading sales teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality—you think strategically but deliver operationally
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and English proficiency
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across an international team environment
