Solution Engineer – AI Engineer – Global role – Hamburg based

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking a Solution Engineer - AI Engineer for their Hamburg location. This is a global role focused on driving AI adoption across enterprise functions including finance, HR, sales, service, legal and quality assurance.

Our client operates internationally with a strong European presence and is investing significantly in systematic AI capabilities to create unique value across their organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI use cases in collaboration with business teams across multiple functions
• Design, build and scale AI services, including solutions using large language models and retrieval augmented generation (RAG)
• Deliver working solutions at pace and integrate them into existing business processes
• Guide external development partners and communicate technical choices clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Support teams in AI adoption and share effective practices across the organization
• Own solutions end-to-end from initial request through development, deployment and delivery

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying AI solutions independently
• Practical experience with Microsoft services, particularly Azure, and Anthropic's Claude suite
• Knowledge of machine learning, large language models, RAG and data engineering practices
• Clear communication skills, sound judgment and ability to manage competing priorities
• Relevant master's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in operational and strategic technology roles in an industrial setting

Location: Hamburg-based with 50/50 office arrangement, or Prague-based with remote working flexibility. This is a global role.
