Testmanager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking an experienced Test Manager to take ownership of quality assurance across demanding banking projects. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and control all testing activities from test conception through execution to results evaluation. You'll maintain comprehensive oversight of test progress, risks, and quality standards, playing a crucial role in ensuring solutions meet the highest industry requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Planning, controlling, and monitoring all test activities including strategy, concept development, and detailed test planning
• Conducting release, system, and regression testing, along with thorough evaluation of test results
• Coordinating with development teams, business departments, and Product Owners while prioritizing and tracking testing topics
• Monitoring test progress, tracking defects, and reporting to project leadership and stakeholders
• Maintaining test cases, test data, and documentation within a structured test management framework
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards specific to the financial sector

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in test management or quality assurance within IT projects in the banking or financial services sector
• Hands-on experience with banking applications such as agree21 or OSPlus
• Proficiency with testing tools including aqua, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with securities account opening processes or similar banking-specific workflows
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with high quality standards
• Experience working in agile project environments (Scrum, SAFe) with strong identification with agile values
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, are required for this position

Pay

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Münster with flexible working arrangements including remote options and flextime. Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience and seniority level.
