Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Munich seeking an experienced Software Tester with banking domain expertise. In this role, you will ensure that software solutions are not only technically sound but also functionally accurate and compliant with banking requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing requirements and developing test cases and test concepts based on banking business processes
• Executing manual and automated tests, documenting results with precision
• Supporting acceptance testing directly with end users and accompanying business departments during system implementations
• Contributing to continuous improvement of testing strategy and bringing forward new ideas for quality assurance
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, developers, and specialist departments in a solution-oriented manner

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who understands banking operations and can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed training as a bank clerk or several years of experience in the banking sector
• Curiosity about IT and eagerness to apply banking expertise to software projects, or existing experience as a software tester in banking environments
• Structured, quality-conscious working style with the ability to maintain overview in complex scenarios
• ISTQB certification (advantageous)
• Experience with testing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aqua, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or FitNesse (desirable)
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
