About This Opportunity

We are representing a rapidly expanding boutique sports and lifestyle organization in Berlin. Our client operates premium indoor facilities across multiple urban locations, combining sophisticated design with advanced digital systems to create exceptional member experiences.

As Country Operations Lead, you will own operational performance across all locations, ensuring consistent excellence in customer experience, service delivery, and commercial results. You'll report to the COO and lead the field operations organization through a period of significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Local Operations Leadership: Drive operational performance across all locations, ensuring each site meets targets for revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Team Development: Build and develop Regional Operations Managers and Site Managers into strong leaders, establishing a high-performance culture with clear accountability
• Customer Experience: Own the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring service, hospitality, community engagement, and brand delivery meet standards at every location
• Operational Execution: Ensure the operating model is consistently implemented across all sites—not just introduced, but lived daily
• Site Growth & Stabilization: Drive operational development of new and existing locations, ensuring new sites rapidly achieve target performance while existing locations continuously improve
• Continuous Improvement: Identify best practices and structural challenges from the field, working with central teams to feed insights into operating model, systems, and process evolution
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Central Operations, Commercial, Brand, Construction, Finance, and People teams to ensure strategic initiatives are successfully executed across all locations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-growing multi-site business
• Proven track record leading geographically distributed operations teams
• Deep understanding of managing operational performance through relevant KPIs
• High travel willingness and genuine enjoyment of spending regular time on-site at locations
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking and high execution capability
• Structured, data-driven approach with the ability to set clear priorities in dynamic environments
• German language proficiency required for this Berlin-based role
