Senior Project Developer (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential real estate development organization in Berlin seeking a Senior Project Developer to lead complex commercial and residential projects from concept through approval. Our talent team is conducting an exclusive search for an experienced professional who can manage the full development cycle, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and navigate German planning regulations with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Manage project development cycles and coordinate external service providers including architects and specialist planners through approval planning stages
• Conduct site assessments and prepare feasibility studies, area planning, and cost estimates for commercial and residential projects
• Lead negotiations with municipal authorities, agencies, urban planners, and community stakeholders
• Support urban planning workshop procedures and architectural competition processes
• Supervise B-plan (zoning plan) procedures and manage urban development contract negotiations
• Oversee neighborhood agreements and ensure compliance with planning frameworks
• Handle internal and external project reporting and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Degree in architecture, civil engineering, real estate management, urban planning, or comparable qualification in housing or property management
• Several years of professional experience developing commercial and residential construction projects and building land
• Proven experience leading project teams through complex development processes
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to assert positions and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of German real estate law and planning regulations highly advantageous
• Fluency in German required for interactions with authorities and stakeholders
