About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization seeking a Senior National Account Manager to lead commercial growth across Industry & Manufacturing sectors in the UK and Ireland. This is a hybrid role based in London, offering the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships with major food manufacturers in bakery, desserts, soups, sauces, and beverages.
In this position, you will combine commercial expertise with culinary innovation to help manufacturers create exceptional products. You will own a high-margin business area and work cross-functionally to deliver sustainable revenue growth while building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Execute growth strategy across Industry & Manufacturing sectors, identifying new commercial opportunities
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with procurement, commercial, technical, and culinary stakeholders at leading food manufacturers
- Collaborate with Culinary, Marketing, Technical, and R&D teams to develop innovative recipes and product applications
- Drive commercial excellence through negotiations, joint business planning, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements
- Manage and coach a Junior Key Account Manager, fostering accountability and high performance
- Own commercial growth of a key business area generating over 45% gross margin
- Deliver data-driven insights to ensure sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing strategic B2B accounts within Foodservice, FMCG, or Industry & Manufacturing
- Strong track record of growing long-term commercial opportunities with manufacturing customers
- Demonstrated commercial acumen through leading negotiations, pricing, and joint business planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills across diverse teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and curiosity to identify new opportunities
- Genuine interest in food culture, consumer behavior, and future food trends
- Understanding of how taste, nutrition, and functionality drive innovation and consumer experiences
- Line management experience with ability to develop junior team members
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Technical, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
