Senior Finance Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology company in London that is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their Europe Accounting team. This is a pivotal role during a period of organizational growth and integration, where you'll ensure financial operations remain robust and scalable while maintaining the highest standards of reporting accuracy.

In this position, you'll lead critical month-end and quarter-end close activities, oversee balance sheet reconciliations, and implement process improvements that strengthen financial governance across European operations. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to streamline accounting workflows and maintain comprehensive audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with headquarters requirements
• Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain financial accuracy
• Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across Europe
• Collaborate with Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and standard operating procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting excellence and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification required
• At least 4 years of post-qualified experience in accounting or finance roles
• Significant experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting
• Strong understanding of NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions
• Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving business environment
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
