Solution Engineer – Germany

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cybersecurity organization with a global footprint in the open-source threat management space. We're seeking a Solution Engineer based in Germany to support enterprise adoption of advanced security platforms across the DACH region.

This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer enablement. You'll guide strategic prospects and enterprise customers through product evaluation, integration planning, and successful deployment of open-source security solutions used by thousands of organizations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and functional guidance to key prospects and existing customers throughout the sales cycle and onboarding process
• Build and execute tailored product demonstrations and technical workshops aligned to specific customer use cases and security objectives
• Design technical solutions that integrate with customer architecture, threat intelligence workflows, and business requirements
• Lead Proof-of-Value deployments from scoping through successful handover to Customer Success teams
• Serve as technical advisor in customer discussions ranging from engineering teams to C-level stakeholders
• Contribute to technical documentation, training materials, and integration best practices
• Maintain active engagement with the open-source user community and channel partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to communicate customer insights and influence product roadmap

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in Solution Engineering, Technical Account Management, Presales, or Cybersecurity Consulting roles
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, particularly Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), threat intelligence, or security operations
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading technical workshops, product demonstrations, or customer training sessions
• Comfortable working in remote-first, fast-paced environments with distributed teams
• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
• Bonus: Background in breach and attack simulation, penetration testing, Security Operations Centers (SOC), cyber threat intelligence (CTI), or public sector cybersecurity
