About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing cybersecurity consultancy in the DACH region. Our client provides penetration testing, managed security operations, incident response, and compliance services to enterprise customers across Germany. They are building their business development function and need a proactive junior sales professional to help identify and qualify new opportunities in the German market.

This is a part-time role (20–25 hours per week) based in Stuttgart with hybrid flexibility. You'll work directly with leadership to develop the sales pipeline, test new lead generation channels, and shape outbound strategies as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential target customers and companies in the German B2B market
  • Build your own lead lists and execute structured outreach campaigns
  • Develop and test new approaches to lead generation across email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Qualify inbound and outbound contacts, converting them into concrete sales opportunities
  • Follow up on leads generated from events, partnerships, and existing network activities
  • Maintain structured documentation of contacts, pipeline stages, and next steps in CRM
  • Conduct initial customer conversations alongside senior leadership
  • Support preparation of presentations, proposals, and other sales materials
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and occasional customer meetings
  • Propose and experiment with new sales channels, evaluating what works best

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Background in IT, software, SaaS, managed services, or consulting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with outbound sales and active lead generation
  • Ability to independently research prospects, build contact lists, and organize follow-ups
  • Comfortable testing new sales approaches and measuring their effectiveness
  • Professional communication skills with business customers
  • Self-directed, structured, and reliable working style
  • Native-level German and strong English communication skills
  • Openness to occasional travel for events and client meetings in the Stuttgart area
  • Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus but not required

Practical B2B sales experience and communication ability matter more than a specific degree.
