About This Opportunity
Our recruiting team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential legal technology organization in their search for a Technical Account Executive. This is a quota-carrying enterprise sales role focused on generating new revenue from advanced legal workflow solutions, document management integrations, and API platforms within large law firms across the United States.
You'll co-sell with account managers who own the broader client relationships, while you serve as the technical sales specialist driving adoption of sophisticated legal technology solutions. This role requires both technical fluency and enterprise sales excellence—you'll engage CIOs, innovation leaders, knowledge management teams, and practice leaders through complex, multi-threaded sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Drive new product and expansion revenue for legal drafting tools, document management system integrations, and API solutions within assigned large law firm accounts (50+ attorneys, including AmLaw segment)
- Lead technical discovery to assess firm priorities, drafting and research workflows, technology architecture, integration requirements, and security protocols
- Position solutions according to each firm's specific business and technical objectives—supporting drafting workflows, internal applications, AI initiatives, and firm-developed solutions
- Engage executive and technical stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, innovation leaders, data and AI leaders, managing partners, and IT governance teams
- Navigate complex enterprise buying processes involving information security review, procurement, legal review, technical validation, and firm approval workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account teams, product, engineering, security, legal, and customer success to address requirements and advance opportunities
- Manage pipeline rigorously with disciplined opportunity management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM hygiene
- Develop proposals and negotiate commercial terms within established guidelines
- Translate technical capabilities and integration requirements into clear business-value narratives for legal, operational, and technical audiences
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS, enterprise software, data solutions, or legal technology sales
- Proven track record generating new product or expansion revenue within enterprise accounts
- Experience selling technical solutions involving integrations, APIs, data delivery, or workflow platforms
- Demonstrated ability to engage executive, business, legal, and technical stakeholders within the same sales cycle
- Consistent quota achievement in complex, multi-stage sales environments
- Strong discovery, presentation, business-case development, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to co-sell and develop joint account strategies with account owners and internal specialists
- Ability to mobilize cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong organizational skills and disciplined approach to opportunity management
Preferred:
- Experience selling into AmLaw firms or other large legal organizations
- Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage or NetDocuments
- Experience with APIs, data integrations, legal drafting technology, generative AI tools, or enterprise workflow platforms
- Understanding of law firm technology, information security, data governance, and procurement processes
- Experience operating within a specialist, overlay, or matrixed sales model
Location and Travel: This is a home-based position supporting the West Coast region. Candidates should be based near a major metropolitan area with convenient airport access. Travel approximately 20–30% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.
