We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their technical team in London. This is a full-time, permanent position working with global cloud infrastructure that supports product development, data engineering, and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and improve AWS infrastructure with focus on ECS, RDS, and supporting services
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, maintaining version-controlled and reusable modules
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and container deployment processes for secure software delivery
  • Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive improvements in reliability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with product, data engineering, and AI teams to deliver effective infrastructure solutions
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives and maintain operational documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on production experience with AWS infrastructure, ideally including ECS and RDS
  • Practical experience with Terraform including modules, state management, and version-controlled changes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and production deployments
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery, high-availability configurations, and database migrations
  • Ability to independently deliver infrastructure tasks and contribute to architectural discussions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with English proficiency at C1 level
  • Interest in using AI-assisted tools to support infrastructure development and troubleshooting
