About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior QA Engineer to establish and lead quality assurance across their growing web platform. This is a critical role where you'll introduce structure, consistency, and confidence into the release process from the ground up.
Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA processes and standards across the platform
- Perform manual testing across multiple websites and applications
- Own regression testing for releases, migrations, and new features
- Act as the quality gate before production releases
- Define and begin implementing a test automation strategy
- Select tools and identify areas suitable for automation
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to improve quality practices
- Mentor junior QA engineers as the team grows
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of QA experience, primarily web-focused
- Strong background in manual testing
- Experience setting up QA processes from scratch
- Familiarity with modern web stacks and CMS platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
- Automation experience (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
- Experience with accessibility or performance testing
- Previous lead or senior QA role
