Infrastructure Developer, Platform Engineering

About the Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise SaaS organization that is building an AI-native infrastructure platform for a large internal engineering organization. This Infrastructure Developer role sits within the Platform Engineering division, where you'll be building systems that accelerate how developers ship value to end users.

The team's mission is clear: shorten the time from idea to value by making the smooth path the safe, fast path—optimized for both human engineers and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) as code using Terraform, ensuring every environment is reproducible and legible to both engineers and agents
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with guardrails that make agentic releases safe by default
• Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters in production
• Maintain and evolve Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable components
• Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, feeding signal back into AI-assisted remediation with clear alert ownership
• Harden infrastructure security through image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configuration
• Partner closely with product engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs
• Enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently
• Participate in the on-call rotation

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering
• AI-forward mindset: you hold everything you build to an AI-native standard
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP experience transfers well)
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments
• Proficiency with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support engineering teams effectively
• Excellent communication skills—you can explain platform complexity and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
• Expert-level English, spoken and written
