Lead Deployment Architect

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Lead Deployment Architect based in London. Our client is at the forefront of process intelligence and AI-driven business transformation, working with the world's leading enterprises to deliver measurable, business-critical outcomes.

In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for strategic delivery engagements, designing end-to-end solution architectures and defining how AI-augmented workflows are deployed at scale. You will operate at the intersection of deep platform expertise, domain knowledge, and customer strategy—equally comfortable leading technical design reviews and presenting transformation roadmaps to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Support pre-sales scoping activities, ensuring appropriate services are positioned alongside technical solutions
• Design complex enterprise solution architectures spanning multiple process areas, business units, and geographies
• Define technical blueprints for platform integration with customer systems, data strategies, and transformation goals
• Design secure, scalable architectures optimized for long-term usage growth and high concurrency
• Make architectural trade-off decisions with clear rationale tied to customer outcomes
• Own solution quality across engagements through design reviews and architectural standards enforcement

AI Orchestration & Delivery Innovation

• Design AI deployment agent workflows across complex, multi-workstream engagements
• Develop reusable specifications, templates, and patterns for AI-directed delivery
• Pioneer new delivery approaches that leverage AI to compress timelines and improve quality
• Set standards for AI output validation to maintain quality as delivery accelerates

Customer Strategy & Advisory

• Serve as senior technical advisor to strategic customers, building trusted relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders
• Translate business challenges into platform strategies, identifying high-impact use cases and success metrics
• Provide technical credibility in complex pre-sales situations, validating solution feasibility
• Guide customers through process intelligence maturity journeys and platform expansion strategies
• Establish deep technical advisor relationships with customer data engineers, architects, and transformation leaders

Implementation & Domain Expertise

• Collaborate with deployment engineers on the most complex and cutting-edge use cases
• Own implementation of early-stage products, maintaining close feedback cycles with product teams
• Review solution blueprints for quality, scalability, and production readiness
• Develop deep expertise in process domains (Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, IT Service Management) or industry verticals
• Translate domain knowledge into scalable solution patterns and reference architectures

Practice Development

• Contribute to hiring by defining role standards, conducting interviews, and calibrating assessments
• Share knowledge through internal enablement sessions, documentation, and community leadership
• Feed customer insights and field experience back into platform development to influence roadmap

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership within enterprise software, consulting firms, or system integrators; at least 3 years in senior technical roles with multi-stakeholder responsibility in large-scale projects at tier-1 organizations
• Architecture Skills: Proven ability to design complex, multi-component solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI; deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and trade-offs
• Platform Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of process intelligence platforms, including data modeling, advanced query languages, automation engines, and AI modules; working knowledge of Python to push platform boundaries
• AI & Agent Orchestration: Demonstrated ability to design AI-augmented delivery workflows; experience with context engineering, multi-agent system design, or AI validation at scale using frontier tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.)
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge in at least one major process domain or industry vertical, with ability to translate expertise into scalable solution patterns
• Executive Presence: Track record of building trusted advisor relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders; experience navigating complex IT landscapes and communicating technical trade-offs to senior leadership
• Consulting & Communication: Exceptional ability to translate between technical and business audiences; experience leading workshops, design sessions, and strategic reviews
• Leadership & Mentoring: Demonstrated ability to raise team performance through mentoring, setting quality standards, and contributing to organizational capability development
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• Languages: Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus
