Senior Value Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a Senior Value Engineer in London. In this role, you will own the end-to-end value journey for Fortune 500 customers, serving as their trusted technology and business advisor throughout landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal phases.

Identify & Frame Value:

• Discover and translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact use cases for process intelligence and AI-driven transformation
• Advise organizations on platform integration within their existing IT landscape and AI strategy
• Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers
• Use hands-on technical skills (SQL/Python) to build AI prototypes that bring the platform to life for new audiences
• Communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives

Realize Value:

• Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement
• Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives

Scale Value:

• Build strategic expansion roadmaps for customers embedding process intelligence as a transformation platform
• Drive adoption and expansion across customer organizations
• Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance platform capabilities based on new use cases

What We're Looking For

Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Strong knowledge of business software and SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), hands-on SQL and/or Python skills, experience collaborating with IT teams, experience developing dashboards and automations in tools like PowerBI or RPA, and knowledge of AI-powered solutions.

Customer Value Focus: Experience in an analytical role demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment. Ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a SaaS provider or consultancy. Alternatively, experience in an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within an enterprise.

Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven experience identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users/process owners to realize value.

Project Management: Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, leveraging ecosystem partners where appropriate.

Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English with a confident, professional presence.

Business Domain Expertise: Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains as well as strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation).

Industry Expertise: Ideally expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) and the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.

Education: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a comparable technical field.
