Communications & Design Working Student

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fusion energy technology organization based in the Munich area. We're seeking a communications and design working student to support visual storytelling and digital content creation in a fast-paced scientific environment.

This is an execution-focused role where you'll transform complex technical information into clear, engaging communications materials. You'll work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to produce social media content, branded assets, and bilingual communications while gaining hands-on experience in an innovative industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt visual assets for social and digital channels, including graphics and supporting content for LinkedIn and other platforms
• Transform scientific, technical, and corporate information into accessible visual and written formats
• Support production and coordination of social media content, maintaining content calendars and gathering inputs from stakeholders
• Assist with branded materials and visual communications for the office environment
• Prepare and adapt German-language communications, including translation between English and German
• Monitor relevant media coverage, industry developments, and competitive activity, compiling concise updates for internal teams
• Provide practical communications support across various projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or comparable discipline
• Fluent or native-level German with strong written and spoken English
• Strong visual and digital design capabilities with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Good understanding of contemporary social and digital communications channels
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible communications outputs
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
