Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity client in their search for a Commercial Account Executive to manage UK-based territory. In this role, you will:

  • Own and grow a designated territory within the UK, focusing on acquiring new Commercial clients (501-2,500 employees) and expanding existing accounts
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, inbound leads, cold calling, and networking
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas, maintaining high volumes of outbound activity
  • Identify and close opportunities to upsell and cross-sell solutions within existing accounts
  • Close multi-product deals and develop new business opportunities within your territory
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build relationships with potential customers and represent the client brand
  • Engage with CISOs, CIOs, and VP-level contacts, demonstrating executive presence and cybersecurity industry knowledge
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal teams (BDR, Solutions, Channels, Onboarding, Customer Success) to develop tailored solutions
  • Strategically leverage Partner, Alliance, and MSP relationships to create and close opportunities
  • Present confidently to C-suite executives using a consultative approach and lead high-stakes negotiations
  • Create mutual action plans to align sales teams and prospects on deal timelines and responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with:

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in security with a focus on Commercial accounts OR top performance in SMB and ready to step up
  • Demonstrated success owning and growing a geographical territory or country within EMEA
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs, including consistent experience closing deals with £50k+ ARR
  • Demonstrated success in upselling and cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business
  • Proven track record leveraging executive stakeholders throughout deal cycles and securing in-person meetings with key decision-makers
  • Experience conducting regular in-person customer engagement multiple times per month, with willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings and industry events
  • Proficient skills in outbound prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, value-based selling, and territory management
  • Strong business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, and presenting to C-Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical parties
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets in a remote and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with channel resellers (enabling, account mapping, relationship building)
  • Experience with MEDDPPICC sales methodology or other rigorous qualification frameworks preferred
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach preferred
  • Willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings and industry events

Location and Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid role based in London. You will work from the client's London office 3 days per week, with flexibility to work up to 5 days per week based on business needs. Regular customer-facing travel within your assigned territory is expected.

Pay

The annual base salary for this role is between £53,000 GBP and £74,000 GBP, and is commission-eligible. The position also includes participation in a comprehensive benefits program (health, dental, pension, and others), generous paid time off, equity grant, and participation in applicable incentive programs.
