Member of Technical Staff (Robotics)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI research organization working at the cutting edge of robotics and multimodal systems. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with machine learning researchers to build state-of-the-art training and simulation platforms for robotics applications
• Develop persistent 3D and 4D scene representations that maintain temporal consistency across complex environments
• Enable advanced robotics planning and decision-making capabilities through world model development
• Bridge the simulation-to-reality gap, ensuring sensing and system dynamics perform reliably in real-world operations
• Work alongside top-tier ML researchers to advance generative models for embodied systems
• Integrate world models, perception systems, and robotic platforms to translate high-level AI reasoning into smooth, safe, and responsive physical actions

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates with strong technical foundations in:

• Background in robotics or computer vision
• Experience with 3D perception, scene representations, or world models
• Hands-on experience working with robotic systems, simulation frameworks, or real-world platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages
• Ability to work effectively across machine learning, perception, and robotics disciplines
• Currently located in London or willing to relocate to London, UK

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in world models for embodied systems, 3D/4D generative models, robotics manipulation, embodied AI, or multimodal AI systems.
