Senior Data Analyst – Application Mobile E-commerce (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading international retail organization seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their mobile e-commerce analytics team in Paris. This is a permanent position working with a cross-functional product team of approximately 10 professionals focused on optimizing digital customer experiences at global scale.

As Senior Data Analyst for the mobile application scope, you will provide strategic analytical vision to optimize the entire mobile conversion funnel—from app installation through checkout, including post-purchase and omnichannel functionalities.

Responsibilities

• 360° Product Team Partnership: Serve as the key data partner to Product Managers throughout product lifecycles, including Discovery phases, KPI framework definition, A/B test monitoring, and rollout impact measurement. Provide data-driven insights to guide product roadmap and help teams prioritize initiatives.
• Actionable Insights Production: Conduct proactive exploratory analyses to identify growth opportunities, optimize in-app user experience, and inform the overall mobile application strategy in close collaboration with the Group Product Manager.
• Team Enablement: Share insights and provide training on analytics tools (Amplitude, Adjust) to support global and local teams in monitoring mobile app performance.
• Tracking, App Tech & Privacy Expertise: Define iOS/Android-specific tracking requirements with tracking teams while ensuring strict compliance with privacy regulations. Engage confidently on technical challenges and data governance.

What We're Looking For

• E-commerce & Mobile App Expertise: Solid knowledge of e-commerce in a retail environment and proven experience with key metrics and challenges in mobile app environments (iOS/Android).
• A/B Testing, Tracking & Privacy Mastery: Experience defining and analyzing A/B tests, designing tracking plans, and addressing data privacy constraints.
• Advanced Data Skills: Expert-level SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with Cloud/Big Data environments such as Databricks for processing and cross-referencing large data volumes.
• Technical Stack: Familiarity with Amplitude, Statsig, Adjust, Databricks, SQL, and Tableau.
• Curious Profile & Continuous Learning: Strong intellectual curiosity, active monitoring of mobile usage trends, and enthusiasm for experimenting with new analytical methodologies.
• Product Development & Optimization: Demonstrated ability to measure incremental value of product evolutions and provide strategic recommendations to optimize customer experience.
• Communication & English Proficiency: Excellent ability to simplify data concepts, create compelling data narratives, and communicate fluently in professional English (oral and written) within an international, collaborative environment.
• Team Spirit & Data Impact: Willingness to share knowledge within the team, contribute to building reference e-commerce data expertise, and support the broader data strategy.
