Technical Account Manager, Europe

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded security technology company seeking a Technical Account Manager to own customer success for their European portfolio. This is a product-focused, technical role where you'll serve as the primary post-sale contact for enterprise customers using developer security tooling.

You'll be responsible for onboarding, implementation, technical troubleshooting, and ensuring customers achieve their security and development workflow goals. This role works closely with account executives on renewals and expansion, but your primary focus is making customers successful with the product.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-sales relationship as main technical point of contact for European customers
• Lead technical onboarding for new enterprise customers, from initial setup through full integration with CI/CD systems, build pipelines, and IDEs
• Build repeatable onboarding playbooks and automations that reduce time-to-value
• Investigate and resolve integration, configuration, and compatibility issues using logs and telemetry
• Respond to customer issues in dedicated Slack channels and escalate to engineering when needed
• Conduct discovery conversations, architecture reviews, and security posture assessments
• Deliver workshops, office hours, and technical deep-dives that drive product adoption
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic customers and build measurable success plans
• Partner with account executives on upsells, renewals, and expansions
• Bring technical feedback and field intelligence back to product and engineering teams
• Contribute to documentation and internal tooling to scale the technical success practice

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Support Engineer
• 2+ years serving as dedicated point of contact for customers with emphasis on quarterly health checks and success planning
• Background in application security, DevSecOps, or open-source ecosystems
• Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Ability to read and reason about code in JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with package managers
• Comfort troubleshooting in production environments alongside engineering teams
• Clear written and verbal communication with developers, security practitioners, and executives
• Willingness to travel for customer and company meetings as needed
• Must be located in Europe

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with software composition analysis, dependency management, or security scanning tools
• Contributions to open-source projects
