Junior Market Researcher (Crypto and Blockchain)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential blockchain investment platform based in Portugal. Our client focuses on early-stage Web3 project evaluation and token launch strategy. They are building out their market intelligence capabilities and need a Junior Market Researcher to support their analytical operations.

This role reports directly to the Lead Market Researcher and offers excellent exposure to cryptocurrency market dynamics, emerging blockchain narratives, and institutional-grade research methodologies. Responsibilities

• Analyze research reports, whitepapers, and market data to extract actionable insights
• Identify emerging trends, narratives, and patterns in blockchain and cryptocurrency markets
• Collaborate on mid- and long-term strategies that inform project evaluation and launch planning
• Track and maintain a knowledge repository of industry reports covering both broad market movements and nascent verticals
• Present findings through well-structured reports and visual presentations
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for active and upcoming projects in the ecosystem

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields; OR minimum 2 years of active participation in early-stage investment strategies
• Experience in market research, data analysis, or strategy formulation preferred
• Previous work in the Web3 space or related industry is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and tokenomics
• Deep knowledge of fundamental DeFi mechanics including staking, bonding, v2 and v3 liquidity pools, and their implications
• Familiarity with research platforms such as Messari, Glassnode, and Dune Analytics
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols, NFT ecosystems, or layer-2 scaling solutions is valued

• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute in a dynamic team environment
