Biller – Claims & Denials – Full-Cycle Biller

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Biller specializing in Claims and Denials. This remote position focuses on supporting Critical Access Hospital (UB-04) and Rural Health Clinic (CMS-1500) facilities, coordinating essential business office activities including patient billing, collections, third-party payer relations, and insurance claims preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate business office functions including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry
• Ensure accurate and timely claims submission in accordance with established procedures and third-party requirements
• Process claims and work denial queues to resolution
• Implement appropriate follow-up procedures for third-party approvals, billing, and collection of overdue accounts
• Recommend and implement process improvements and controls for billing and collections workflows
• Maintain consistent production and quality assurance standards
• Provide quality customer service following company and client-specific policies
• Process miscellaneous paperwork and administrative duties
• Assist manager with employee coaching, training, and performance management
• Collaborate on team projects as needed
• Protect confidential customer and patient information

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of Full-Cycle billing experience with Acute Hospital and/or Physician (Profee) claims
• Demonstrated experience working Claims and Denial Queues
• Familiarity with Commercial and Medicaid claims (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Excellent critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to follow through on issues to resolution
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as a team member
• Ability to work with high-profile customers managing complex processes
