Direct Asset Finance Specialist

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Direct Asset Finance Specialist for their Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing distribution team focused on serving established SMEs across the UK.

In this role, you'll be integral to delivering asset finance solutions directly to customers, acting as the first point of contact for inbound enquiries while building your own portfolio through proactive outreach and networking. You'll work closely with relationship managers and product teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and continuous improvement of the offering.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of Asset Finance customers, achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual income targets
• Handle inbound calls and resolve customer issues efficiently
• Originate new business through cold outreach and regular networking within your territory
• Provide Asset Finance support to Relationship Managers via telephone and email
• Execute targeted marketing campaigns and manage new prospect pipelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers, prospects, and professional counterparties
• Report on Key Business Indicators and identify Early Warning Indicators
• Manage customer conversations with Credit teams and handle relationships appropriately
• Collaborate across departments to drive effective delivery of annual lending targets
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business introducers and professional networks
• Ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly principles in all activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven career progression in business development within the Asset Finance market
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Established introducer (non-broker) relationships and relationship management capabilities
• Knowledge of Asset Finance products and SME businesses
• Ability to structure new Asset Finance lending proposals and write credit applications
• Capability to analyse and review financial accounts and associated information
• Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems
• Excellent time management and organization skills to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously
• A curious mindset with enthusiasm for continuous improvement through customer feedback and experience
