Facility Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Zoetis is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician for our first shift operations in Lincoln. This is a full-time position supporting the facility's mechanical, electrical, and building systems that keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

The Opportunity

As Facility Maintenance Technician 1st Shift, you'll be the technical backbone of our facility's reliability. You'll work the early shift, tackling planned maintenance projects and responding to operational needs that keep production flowing. This role offers hands-on technical work with diverse systems, the satisfaction of solving complex problems, and the opportunity to contribute to a pharmaceutical facility that impacts animal health globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs across the facility
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and equipment documentation
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime
• Follow safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Support facility capital projects and process improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of facility maintenance or mechanical repair experience
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and HVAC principles
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various facility environments
• Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments; relevant certifications
