Data Architecture Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Data Architecture Consultant to join their team in Wiesbaden on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will shape complex data landscapes and support the development of future-ready data architectures for clients across various industries.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Developing target data architectures and comprehensive data models for complex enterprise environments
• Analyzing and optimizing data flows, interfaces, and system integrations
• Creating concepts for data governance, data quality management, and unified data standards
• Advising clients on the selection and integration of new databases, data platforms, and cloud solutions
• Supporting digitalization and migration projects while coordinating requirements with business units, IT departments, and stakeholders
• Ensuring data privacy, data security, and compliance requirements are incorporated into architecture designs
• Sharing expertise through workshops, coaching sessions, and collaborative projects
• Contributing to knowledge transfer and mentoring initiatives

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with the following qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable field
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in developing or optimizing data architectures
• Strong knowledge in data modeling, data integration, or data management (e.g., data warehousing)
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is advantageous
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality standards, and data privacy/compliance requirements
• Analytical and structured working approach with strong communication skills
• Experience working in agile project environments
• Willingness to travel nationally for on-site client assignments
• Fluent German and English language proficiency (negotiation-level German required)
