Calibration Technician – 1st Shift

About This Position

As a Calibration Technician on the 1st Shift team at Zoetis in Lincoln, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of precision instruments and manufacturing equipment. Your work directly supports our quality assurance operations and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role where your attention to detail and technical expertise will be valued as part of our dedicated team.

Core Duties

• Perform calibration procedures on precision measuring instruments and manufacturing equipment using established protocols and approved standards
• Test, adjust, and verify equipment accuracy using certified measurement references and calibration devices
• Document calibration results in detail, maintain accurate records, and prepare compliance reports
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to relevant teams
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance personnel to maintain measurement system integrity
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines throughout all calibration work
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to measurement and calibration processes

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience with precision measuring instruments and equipment calibration procedures
• Strong technical foundation in measurement standards and calibration best practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and calibration documentation
• Excellent attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality standards
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 1st Shift schedule consistently
• Proficiency in record-keeping and technical documentation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production and quality teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot equipment issues
